Booked online, staff didnt seem to know what to do with the qr code, when we went to the door we got told to cue up to get our tickets, after a 20 min cue, only to be told they scan them at the door. Went back to the door nobody checked we had either. Went back for a snack mid film and with 3 staff serving and no customers had to wait a further 5mins for them to finish their conversation before talking to me and taking my order. Didnt really feel like a valued customer. Venue was easy to park with acess to the rest of the city toilets and cinemas were clean and tidy.
Welcoming, helpful and friendly I popped up to book some wicked tickets and get some cups in preparation. The 2 ladies who helped me was so upbeat, helpful and friendly, they had a nice warmth about them, like nothing was to much trouble. She explained the different showings, time and seating, as I thought one row had a gab between, but it hasn't. Sorted my cups and I sorted my tickets yesterday. When I walked up was greeted by a gent who also helped the 2 ladies on a question i had, again friendly and nothing was to much trouble, they made it easy. A huge thank you
Had an amazing experience today (23/12/25) because of a worker named Ellie. She was so friendly from the beginning and helped us carry the food and drinks we bought. I hope she’s gets some recognition for her hard work. Thank you so much Ellie!
Got refused to watch a movie that i wanted to watch by the women behind the counter then she asked me for ID when i am 15 and was with my mum and dont get my ID for another 2 months what kind of 15 year old carries ID or a passport. Manager was really rude and sarcastic. Wont be getting my custom and wont be going back. Worst experience ive ever had and ruined my day.
I love the Vue, always cheap with great food options but the Hull venue had popcorn strewn all over the floor for the 30 mins we waited for the film. Staff would notice the mess and move on. It all felt a bit dirty.
