very generic, very basic, very boring. Full of uni students who sit there ALL day abusing the free WiFi with the one coffee they order. Hard for anyone else to enjoy. I got a flat white it was not anything special, I don't blame this actual shop for it i know it's Nero all together, I wish they'd invest in better quality coffee, it's just as bland as Starbucks and the rest, where nothing is personal, no connection, very robotic, very bland, same thing day by day.
The staff are lovely, as you'd expect at a Caffè Nero. It's a good size and usually has some seating at most times of the day. A bit loud, but it's Headingley, that is to be expected. If you're needing a quick cuppa or easy to find place to meet someone, can recommend.
Very friendly staff, always helpful. The shop is in a busy part of Headingley and is attended by many students using laptops as well as people of all ages. It has nice large windows for seeing life go by. Due to the large volumes of customers you may find you can’t get a seat or may have to sit up at the windows, but this is quite rare in my experience. I recommend the bacon rolls (Make sure that it’s heated well) and apricot croissants … but don’t take the last one … it’s for me 😊
Had the best experience with one of the baristas there, Kateryna. Great coffee and even greater service. Will visit again
A fairly calm branch, busy but quite quiet as customers were mostly students working on their laptops. However, the wifi wasn't working, which is a pretty poor show for a chain coffee shop in 2025. The staff are very friendly, but the drink quality is a bit hit and miss. The espresso-based coffees are very good, but the frappe latte doesn't appear to contain any actual coffee - just a pre-mixed powder which tasted very cheap and could probably be bought from Lidl. £4.70 is too much for that. One good point is that iced drinks are served in glasses when drinking in, but the tap water is served in disposable plastic cups.
