Coffee and food great. Most of the staff are great. However they need to employ the services of a good joiner to sort out the issue with the door that happens as soon as the weather gets damp the wood swells and the door sticks open. It has been an issue for years, but is easy to fix.
Had a bit of time to spare so we nipped in for a coffee. Busy downstairs so went up the very narrow stairs and found a table upstairs. Lots of cups, plates etc on unoccupied tables but found one empty and clean..ish. The place is dark and looks grubby, coffee was OK but nothing special. We went downstairs and as we were leaving I spoke to the four members of staff chatting behind the counter and asked if they were busy... if not maybe they should get themselves in motion and clear the dirty cups, plates from the tables upstairs at least. The place could do with a makeover..
Very friendly and welcoming staff, lovely coffee and great selection of cakes and pastries. Inside there is plenty of seating spread across a downstairs and upstairs area. There is also a dedicated area to sit outside. Comfy chairs are available alongside the more regular seating. Based on this visit I would highly recommend.
One of my favourite Nero cafes in the country. I live in Hull but I like to go to Beverly for a walk and shopping. I always prefer to sit there. Quiet place, staff are really nice and coffee is perfect as always. Highly recommended.
Always go there for an espresso. BUT the one at 32-33 St. Market, Beverley, the owner/company looks utterly oblivious to SAFETY. Friday i went to this one only to almost smashed my face down, breaking teeth etc for there is no SIGN OR YELLOW TAPE alerting us of the house step entering the store. Irresponsible, inconsequential behaviour, lack of respect for the customers. SHAME ON YOU.INDECENT OWNERS. AND IVE HAD BRAIN SURGERY due to a HEMORRHAGE hematoma, 3 months recuperating at the hospital only to be absolutely frightened of what could happen if I fell down missing the quite high step to get in. I was so revolted I won't be having Nero's coffee. Rather go to Costa or Starbucks. Will repeat comment on trust pilot. Tania Vidal.
