This is a full-time position (Monday to Friday) designed for someone who is committed to fostering an inclusive learning atmosphere where every student has the opportunity to succeed.</p> <strong>Role Details</strong> <ul> <li> <p><strong>Location:</strong> York</p> </li><li> <p><strong>Hours:</strong> Monday - Friday (Term Time Only)</p> </li><li> <p><strong>Pay Rate:</strong> £98 - £140 per day (dependent on experience)</p> </li></ul> <strong>Key Responsibilities</strong> <ul> <li> <p>Providing 1:1 or small group support to students with a variety of SEND requirements (e.g., Autism, ADHD, SEMH, or physical disabilities).</p> </li><li> <p>Assisting subject tutors in adapting lesson materials to meet individual learning plans.</p> </li><li> <p>Helping students develop social skills, independence, and confidence within a college setting.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitoring student progress and providing regular feedback to the SEND Coordinator.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensuring a safe and inclusive environment by managing classroom behaviour effectively.</p> </li></ul> <strong>Skills & Experience Required</strong> <ul> <li> <p>A genuine desire to support young people facing barriers to learning.</p> </li><li> <p>The ability to pivot your approach based on a student's immediate needs.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.</p> </li><li> <p>Previous experience working with SEND (in an educational or care setting) is highly advantageous.</p> </li></ul> <strong>Essential Requirements</strong> <ul> <li> <p>An enhanced <strong>DBS on the Update Service</strong> (or willingness to apply for one).</p> </li><li> <p>Confirmed <strong>eligibility to work</strong> in the UK.</p> </li><li> <p>Two professional references covering the last 24 months.</p> </li></ul> <p><strong>Why Join Randstad?</strong></p> <p>When you work with Randstad, you are part of a global leader in recruitment with a local touch.
