Been shopping here for years. Nice shop. Good variety and pleasant to walk around. Who ever changed that store around. Sack them. Isle layout is horrendous. Far end of store, you get smashed into, blocked isles and people just very upset and moaning all the time because of it. I hate going in there now. I’ll pop in for what I want and straight out. Just a very unpleasant experience walking around this store now.
Horrendous, why on earth are the aisles laid out how they are now? You get stuck in a thin aisle, can’t find what you’re looking for, nobody can get past each other, it’s dreadful. Then I’ve just been stopped when I had a shallow trolley with about 5 things in, told I can’t use the self service tills (which were empty) because I had a trolley, this has never been the case before. There were queues at the self service tills with conveyor belts, so I transferred my shopping to a basket and left the trolley for a member of staff to deal with. Horrible experience, lots of empty shelves. Next time I’ll drive an extra 10 minutes to see if the M&S in Middlesbrough is any better.
Cafe is awful Visited About 3pm Friday 2nd. Waited to get a table and then table was given to someone else while we waited to be served. This was sorted out quickly Waited c 40 mins for a toastie and Chips which was average at best. Lots of customers around clearly frustrated. A really disappointing experience. This cafe should be avoided
M&S cafe in Stockton retail park is not planned or organized to accommodate a streamlined service. To purchase a toasted sandwich it’s a process of queuing whilst waiting for customers to order drinks, on my visit it was a fifteen minute wait only to be told it would take twenty five minutes for the toasted sandwich to be cooked No apology ! Several customers walked out of the cafe including myself. M&S in other towns I have found to be of great service excellent choice of food and a cafe worth re visiting.
Fabulous experience getting fitted for a bra by Sue Brown yesterday. I just needed help trying to figure out a size for my mum and she not only obliged and very patiently helped my elderly mum, but then also kindly mentioned that my bra was completely wrong and did an amazing job of fitting both of us. Not pushy for sales, very informative - could recommend any more highly!
