On Sunday 12th July, 9.00 am to 2.00 pm the annual Sledmere Charity Car Boot Sale will be taking place in the park at Sledmere to raise funds for Saint Catherine’s Hospice – Scarborough, Sledmere Church, Sledmere Village Hall and The Wagoners Special Reserve Museum Trust. This is probably one of the poshest Car Boots you will come across with around 100 stalls predominantly selling a range of antiques, vintage items and collectibles. If you’ve always wondered what that old vase is worth that you have at home, why not bring it along for a free valuation by Caroline Hawley, the well-known antiques expert from Flog-It, Bargain Hunt and Put Your Money In who will be with us throughout the event. There will be a Grand Raffle which will be drawn around 1.00 pm which has some great prizes up for grabs from local companies including days out and luxury treats so don’t forget to buy your ticket. Hot and cold refreshments will be available all day so come and make a day of it with us. Admission is £4.00 per person, under 16s are free.
