Carlton House Guesthouse

We have just gotten back from a lovely stay here. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room was very clean, one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed. Staff were great at checking in to make sure we had everything that we needed. Parking was very easy to find, right outside of the hotel and a parking permit was provided for us for a small fee of £10. I’d highly recommend Carlton house for anyone looking for a place to stay in Scarborough, and a huge bonus that the hotel is pet friendly.

Brilliant place yo stay. Big room, well decorated and furnished with a lovely big bathroom. Very reasonably priced. Very helpful owner/manager. Totally recommend.

Really enjoyed our stay at Carlton house. I visited with my partner and our little dog, the room was spacious and very clean with everything you would need for your stay, included fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. We also had the breakfast which was lovely and all freshly cooked. The location was good, only a 2 minute walk onto the South cliff and around 10 mins into the Scarborough centre. We will certainly be visiting Carlton house again. Many thanks to the lovely staff who made us so welcome

We had a lovely couple of nights in between Christmas and New Year at Carlton House with our dog. Clean and comfortable, it was a block away from views and walks to the beach. We would love to come back.

It was my first ever stay at the Carlton and first time on south bay. The hotel is just 2 minute walk to the esplanade with fantastic views of the harbour. Staff couldn’t do enough and always asking if anything needed. The breakfast choice is also very good to suit everyone.
