Co-op Food - Penistone - Market Street

Great shop but the staff make it for me....everybody speaks ....even when they aren't serving....thankyou

Everyone very helpful at site. Team always willing to help and despite the pandemic always giving service with a smile. A small store but has all the everyday essentials you need plus more. All items nicely organised around the store.

This place is a pretty small Co-Op, and because of that there isn't much choice when you look around, and as with all Co-Ops the prices aren't competitive at all. Another downside to this shop is how much cade and attention it is given by Co-Op themselves, only having 2 or 3 staff on at once, meaning there is hardly ever anyone to help you. The staff as well are ok, they're usually pretty slow and sometimes a bit confused when trying to scan things.

Use to be a good store, but the refurbishment has sent the store backwards. Yes, it looks better, but there's a lot less stock, no bakery and less space now they decided to remove a section.

The CO-OP in Penistone has been given the status of convenience store so it can legally open on a Sunday, times of opening on Sunday (10:00 - 18:00) It's shelves are well stocked, with some good price cuts, look out for the "past-sell-by-date" offers (one or two days over) rather than throwing still fresh food item's into the skip they knock 25% - 40% off the original price.& Thursday is market day in Penistone it's a good little market check it out
