Warehouse Team Manager

Warehouse Team Leader Normanton, West Yorkshire Lead high‑performing warehouse & e‑commerce operations for a global FMCG leader. ASR Group is the world's largest refiner and marketer of cane sugar , home to iconic brands like Tate & Lyle®, Lyle's® and Whitworths® . We're looking for an experienced Warehouse Team Manager to take ownership of warehouse and e‑commerce operations at our Normanton site. The Role You'll lead a team of around 10 colleagues , ensuring products move right‑first‑time, in full , while driving safety, cost, service and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include: End‑to‑end management of warehouse & e‑commerce operations Ownership of Warehouse Management System performance, data accuracy & reporting Delivering service, cost and inventory KPIs Leading safety, quality, hygiene & environmental standards Driving Lean / CI improvements and root‑cause problem solving Managing budgets, suppliers, and OEMs Coordinating inbound, outbound, transport & yard operations Building an engaged, high‑performing team culture What We're Looking For Proven warehouse leadership experience in FMCG / manufacturing Strong people leadership with a coaching mindset Experience with Warehouse Management Systems, SAP and data‑led decision making Solid understanding of health & safety and BRC / quality systems Practical Lean / CI experience Strong Excel and stakeholder communication skills Nice to have: Degree‑level qualification, formal Lean training, CAPEX delivery, or e‑commerce fulfilment experience.
