Senior Quantity Surveyor RTS Infrastructure (Part of Arriva Group) Hybrid role | Leeds (Holbeck Depot) Full-time | 40 hours per week We're looking for an experienced and commercially focused Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team at RTS Infrastructure. What you'll be doing As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll take the lead on the commercial management of projects, ensuring they're delivered efficiently, within budget, and in line with contractual requirements. You'll: Lead the commercial management of projects from start to finish Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and cost value reconciliations Administer contracts and ensure compliance with terms and conditions Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities Prepare valuations, applications for payment, and final accounts Procure and manage subcontractor packages, including negotiation and payments Oversee variations, change control processes, and dispute resolution Monitor cash flow and support financial performance Provide commercial input into project planning and delivery Support bids and tender processes, including pricing and reviews Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams Mentor and support junior Quantity Surveyors and commercial staff Drive continuous improvement across commercial processes We're keen to hear from detail-oriented professionals with strong commercial awareness and a collaborative approach. You'll ideally have: Proven experience in a Quantity Surveying role within construction, infrastructure, or rail Strong understanding of contract management and commercial processes Excellent numerical and analytical skills Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly A proactive, solutions-focused mindset The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills Good IT skills and experience with commercial/costing systems Qualifications Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent) – essential What we offer At RTS Infrastructure, we offer a supportive and forward-thinking environment, with the backing of the wider Arriva Group.
