Production Manager

Alexander Steele are working with an established ambient food manufacturing business to recruit a Production Manager (Nights) for their site in West Yorkshire . The successful candidate will play an integral part of the leadership team, this is a multifaceted role encompassing operational management, quality control, people development, and driving continuous improvement. Responsibilities: Lead and manage all day-shift production activities, ensuring output targets are consistently achieved safely and efficiently. Ensure rigorous adherence to Food Safety, Quality (BRC/HACCP), and hygiene standards across the operation. Use Lean Six Sigma and other methodologies for continuous improvement to enhance process efficiency and reduce waste. Develop preventive maintenance plans in collaboration with the engineering and technical departments. Contribute to major Capex projects related to line upgrades and new equipment installations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, safety, and product quality. On offer: Annual Salary is £50,000 - £60,000 DOE - Flexibility on this for exceptional candidates.
