<strong>Job Title:</strong> Transport Administration Clerk<br /><strong>Location:</strong> Bradford, BD4<br /><strong>Start Date:</strong> ASAP<br /><strong>Duration:</strong> Temporary to Permanent Opportunity<br /><strong>Working Hours: </strong>Tuesday to Saturday, 6:00am – 2:00pm<br /><strong>Pay Rate: </strong>£12.71 per hour<br /><br /><strong>Role Overview:</strong><br />We are currently seeking a reliable and organised Transport Administration Clerk to join a busy logistics operation based in Bradford. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term potential for the right candidate. You will play a key role in supporting day-to-day transport operations, ensuring smooth communication between drivers, warehouse teams, and internal systems.<br /><br /><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong><br /><ul> <li>Acting as the first point of contact for drivers arriving on site, greeting them professionally at the transport window</li><li>Checking and confirming delivery and collection bookings accurately</li><li>Monitoring and responding to emails in a timely and professional manner</li><li>Using SAP systems to input, update, and manage transport and logistics data</li><li>Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all administrative tasks are completed efficiently</li><li>Supporting the wider transport team with general administrative duties as required</li></ul> <br /><strong>Requirements:</strong><br /><ul> <li>Previous administration experience (transport or logistics experience desirable but not essential)</li><li>Confident communication skills and a professional manner when dealing with drivers and colleagues</li><li>Basic IT skills, with experience using SAP being advantageous</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively</li></ul> <br /><strong>What We Offer:</strong><br /><ul> <li>Consistent working hours with early finishes</li><li>Opportunity to secure a permanent position</li><li>Supportive team environment within a well-established logistics operation</li></ul> <br />If you are a motivated individual looking to build a career in transport administration, we would love to hear from you.
